Machine Gun Kelly

MachineColson Baker (born April 22 the 22nd of April, 1990) is an American artist and rapper. The rapper is often referred to as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) an actor, songwriter, and singer. His fusion of genres of alternative rock and hip-hop is what earned him fame. The mixtapes he released were four from 2007 to 2010, and then signed with Bad Boy Records. His debut album called Lace Up (2012, peaking at 4th place on the US Billboard 200), featured his hit single "Wild Boy" featuring Waka Flocka Flam. General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2016) were both commercially successful. The latter included the single "Bad Things" with Camila Cabello, which reached the 4th spot on Billboard's Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018) was a rap-oriented album. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album Tickets to My Downfall was released in 2020. The album was a radical departure from hip hop and a transition into the world of pop punk. It was ranked number one on the Billboard 200, the only rock album to do so in the year it was released, and featured the single "My Ex's Best Friend", which reached the 20th spot on the Hot 100. The album was followed by Mainstream Sellout (2022) which had him achieving the same commercial success. Since then, he has been seen in the suspense film Nerve (2016) The thriller Nerve (2016), the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence in addition to the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
