Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10, 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr., a tool and Die maker who previously been employed as a worker in the manufacturing firm. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted as a child and began second grade at five. In 1975 Stone graduated from Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She was also a contestant at Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone and her Aunt in 1977, made the move into New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week later. The next step was Europe which she was to spend a year living with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was, however, unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. Stone decided to keep her acting career going as an actress while living in Europe. She was 20 when she appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories," that received mixed praises.
